When you are cutting, even if you use the higher cutting speed and cutting tools, the cutting efficiency is very low. So what is the reason? In fact, during the cutting process, the cutting tool needs to be continuously up and down to meet the requirements of the cutting lines. Although it seems insignificant, it actually has a direct impact on cutting efficiency.
Specifically, there are three main parameters that affect the height of the cutting tool lift, which are the initial tool drop depth, maximum tool drop depth, and material thickness.
1. Measurement material thickness
Firstly, you need to measure the thickness of the material and modify the relevant parameter in the software. When measuring the thickness of the material, it is recommended to increase the actual thickness by 0 ~ 1mm to prevent inserting the blade at the material surface.
2.Adjustment of the first depth of the knife-down parameter
In terms of the first depth of the knife-down parameter, the actual thickness of the material should be increased by 2 ~ 5mm to prevent the blade from inserting the material directly and causing the blade to break.
3.Adjustment of the maximum depth of the knife-down parameter
The maximum depth of the knife-down parameter, needs to be adjusted appropriately to ensure that the material can be thoroughly cut, but at the same time, it is necessary to avoid cutting out the felt.
After adjusting these parameters and cutting again, you will find that the overall cutting speed has significantly improved. In this way, you can improve cutting efficiency and achieve better results in cutting process without changing the cutting speed and cutting tool.
